Exterior Lighting

These are some new light assemblies I put together, using some sheet aluminum (cut from an old sign I bought at an auction,) and some new LED lights. You can see the original light plates- while I am rebuilding my old camper, salvaging most parts (if possible,) I decided to completely ditch the original rear and side marker lights. The new aluminum plates were cut using a jigsaw with metal-cutting blade, and my bench-top sander to clean it up, and make the lines have a nice contour.
Passenger side assembly mounted. I chose stainless steel hardware for mounting to the body. Stainless locknuts on the inside. I used a helper, and had them go on the inside, and reach through the access hatch for the 110 electrical panel, in order to hold the nuts while I tightened the screws.
Driver-side lights mounted. Taillight has an inexpensive license plate light mounted underneath it. You can also see the red, rear, side marker- again, I made another mounting plate, cut from a piece of aluminum flat stock, and rounded the corners off.
